"What are the dues for Frisco Square? When are they due? Currently dues are $1,700 per year. They must be paid on January 1st each year for the upcoming year. You may opt to pre-pay monthly through CMA. While the HOA makes every effort to be financially conservative and consistent, dues are subject to increase/decrease each year.
How can dues be paid? Frisco Square uses CMA (Community Management Associates) to manage track and manage accounts. To make your payments online, please login to your homeowner account. (if you have not logged on before, please click on the "Register" button and follow the instructions to obtain a username and password). Once you have registered online, please log in and select "Pay Assessments" under "Homeowner Connection".
When is trash pickup? Trash and recycle pickup is currently on Thursday. When placing your cans outside be sure to avoid sprinkler heads that may be installed close to the driveway. Get more info from the city here.
When does mowing/landscaping maintenance take place? Currently mowing takes place on Tuesday. Extra landscaping work such as mulching or laying sod may occur on various other days of the week.

Does the HOA pay for exterior maintenance? The HOA maintains landscaping and upkeep of riser rooms. Painting of trim, replacing roof or repairing brick is the responsibility of the homeowner. I want to lease my home. What are the rules? For the full policy refer to the Leasing Document. Simply put, an owner may not lease his or her home until the home has been owned for at least one year. Additionally, at any given time, no more than 30% of the homes in the neighborhood may be leased. Texas laws regarding leasing have changed in the past year and the HOA Board is in the process of updating the leasing document. However, it is anticipated that the basic rules mentioned above will remain in place.
I want to purchase a home and immediately lease it out. What are the rules? See the previous question. A home must be owned for at least one year before it can be leased. The fine for noncompliance of this rules is $750 plus $50 per day until the owner is in compliance.

Is the train on the East side of the neighborhood active (across the parking lot)? Yes. The train runs frequently. There is a "no horn" ordinance so you should not hear horns being blown though on occasion you may hear one.
